Video editing is often a honed task that is needed, but it also involves the right product for the right task. Time consuming as a result of the need for expensive video editing software, large disk space and a computer with high performance graphics is also needed to utilize these kinds of software. So we find a more subtle way to work for more alternative solutions. Cloud technology has been good to us this past few years, but there are some obstacles still without having too much familiarity with video editing.

You’ll be able to capture video without some restrictions, including frame/minute capture option, work around annoying 2 GB file size limits, send your videos to printers, and heavily compress it and post it unto your webpage.

Along with a preview screen, if you happen to be taking care of your videos, it’s non-destructive capabilities is also represented clearly and graphically on the timeline along with a tree-structure. These two fields are active and straightforward and amazingly easy to work with.

Blender – Blender is a free 3D animation creation suite, intended for all major Operating Systems under the GNU Public License. It can be among the powerful, multi-use editing/compositing and modeling tool that is available for free. It features a lot of animation tools for editing, create 3D graphics, apply sound effects, and add tracks for motion and plus more.

Cinefx Jashaka – Cinefx is an offline playback video editor; capable of editing, encoding, animation and visual effects tools, this is a freeware based on the Jahshaka technology. The video editor has a lot of side features, but the best part is that it lets you create professional digital media in your desktop. Hollywood uses this kind of technology to create blockbuster films and computer generated image (GUI) granted for high performance effects.

DVDVideoSoft Free – Pretty basic software to edit video files. Supports a lot of popular video formats. The Free Studio can be a single package which has all free software applications from DVD VideoSoft to utilize DVD formats, audio and video files. Using this free software it is possible to convert audio and video files between different formats and also to iPod, PSP, iPhone, BlackBerry and also other portable media devices; burn and rip DVDs and audio CDs; upload and download videos and music in your computer and perform common tools for editing of audio and video files.

DVD Knife – DVD Knife is an easy tool for extracting DVD clips from the DVD’s. The clips will probably be kept in VOB format only. This video editor is easy and fastest to use in its category which has capacity to extract long VOB video clips in matter of moments. The friendly graphic interface only requires three steps to extract a certain video “Select start” – “Select end” – Save. It is compatible with other platforms, except for windows 7.

Mewa Film – Is a non-linear editing software that is also called Montage. Video files are shown as a sequence of images alligned horizontally on semi-like timeline. The captured files may then be assembled and cut/trimmed using tool such as drag n’ drop and “rubber band selection” and other functional tools.

Note: These rate below the reviews are my personal rating for the software, this is based on my background and experience using these softwares on my windows desktop.  Rate are 1-10, “10” as the most outstanding editor among its category.

    Yes its on the Video Editing Software Reviews Free for Windows 2012 – Part Two of the article, Windows Movie Maker is good for basic video editing and it is already a predefined software in some computers when you are using a PC, like the Imovie on a MAC computer. Putting up movie slide-shows, merging two videos, adding transitions, etc. But, for extra video editing task like, splitting multiple frames, extracting, rendering frames, and so on. windows movie maker is lacking some extra features on the that side. With that said, video editing is a time consuming work to tackle so choosing whats the best is up to you and what you are good at using that kind of software.

    Also, added the windows live essentials, I rate the software’s depending on the first-hand, its an amateurs way of rating.
